About the Position

These openings are specifically calling on individuals who would be capable of assuming the roles of an Administration Clerk in the areas of Production (Documentation and Repository Processing).

Annual Salary: R202 233 (Level 05)
Location: Department of Defence, Command and Management Information System. Eco Glades 1, 70 Ribbon and grass street, Eco Park, Centurion.

Key Requirements

  • A minimum of Grade 12 (NQF L4) or its equivalent.
  • Excellent interpersonal relations and communication skills, both verbal and written, in English.
  • Proficiency in problem-solving, planning and organisation.
  • Competence in using MS Office applications.

Duties & Responsibilities

The successful applicant will be expected to carry out the following responsibilities:

  • Administrative tasks relating to the office environment.
  • Handle incoming correspondences, calls and take messages.
  • Manage filing system.
  • Coordinate and plan movements of personnel in the directorate both locally and internationally.
  • Arrange travel plans for personnel in the directorate.
  • Update notice boards and manage day-to-day activities in the Director’s office.
