Position Details

The available jobs are for the position of Accounting Clerk: Production with the reference number FMD/04/34/23/07. These are full-time positions situated in Pretoria.

Salary and Benefits

The annual salary for these positions is R202,233(Level 05).

Who Should Apply

  • Applicants must possess a Grade 12 (NQF L4) certificate with Finance/Accounting subjects.
  • Additional post-matric qualifications in Finance/Accounting would be an added advantage.
  • A minimum of one year experience in a relevant field is required.
  • Applicants must have a valid RSA or a Military driver’s license.

Skills Required

  1. Sound reasoning and mathematical abilities
  2. Computer Literacy (MS Office software package)
  3. Well-developed verbal and written communication skills
  4. Conscientiousness and motivation for producing work without defects
  5. Ability to work effectively in a team and be open to suggestions and ideas
  6. Capability to work under pressure and be decisive in terms of task completion
  7. Experience with calculation and processing S&T allowances, subsistence and travel allowance reconciliations, registration of files and documents, and data capturing on financial systems.

Job Responsibilities

The selected candidates will be responsible for executing accounting processes related to benefits payments for DOD Personnel, S&T and allowances. They will also manage payments’ files and related documents, data capturing on DOD accounting systems and handle administrative tasks.
