Job Position:

SCM Clerk: Movable Asset Management (Ref No: 2023/401)

Recommended Skills and Experience

• Experience in Movable Asset Management
• Ability to work under pressure
• Knowledge of Public Finance Management Act (PFMA), Treasury Regulations, Asset Management Framework and Financial Systems such as LOGIS
• Computer Literacy in MS Word, Excel, Access and Outlook
• Strong analytical abilities and interpersonal skills
• Sound financial accounting and budgeting skills
• Adept at managing external stakeholders
• Familiarity with Logis and Bas systems (For Asset Management Functions)
• A valid driver’s license

Key Responsibilities Include

1. Providing clerical support in processes involving movable assets
2. Active participation in verifying movable assets
3. Administrative assistance for disposing of movable assets
4. Management of stock discrepancies and disposal processes
5. Completion of other asset management admin activities
6. Providing movable assets for users
7. Liaising and interaction regarding state assets management
8. Updating of inventories
9. Capturing balance adjustments for surplus and shortages
