What Are We Looking For?

We invite individuals with a Grade 12 qualification and basic knowledge of community development work to apply. Applicants must possess good communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with various community development structures.

Your Role:

As a Community Development Practitioner Assistant, you will play a vital role in assisting in the identification and facilitation of integrated community development interventions in partnership with the community and other relevant stakeholders.

You will also be responsible for:

  • Assisting in community and households profiling
  • Assisting with the registration of emerging local structures such as Non-Profit Organisations (NPOs)
  • Monitoring NPOs for compliance with the NPO and PFMA Acts
  • Participating in and coordinating various awareness campaigns aimed at educating communities.
