As an Administrative Assistant at RAF, your main duty will be providing effective and efficient administrative support. The synergy of your efforts with the Officer, Senior Officer and Team Leader will help ensure the smooth functioning of the branch.
Role Responsibilities
You would be tasked with fulfilling the following roles:
- Following up on queries from stakeholders, this includes handling telephone calls, checking correspondence, sending out and drafting letters, if needed.
- Take charge of completing payment requisition on offers made, such as expenditure authorization and checking list among others.
- Take care of filing and documentation. This involves tasks like drawing and filing correspondence, updating claims system with relevant information.
- Collect and deliver files to all related departments and pass copies to relevant stakeholders.
Qualifications and Skills Required
The suitable candidate for this role must have:
- NQF 4 (Matric or Grade 12) qualification
- Computer literacy
- A minimum of 1 year’s experience within an administrative and claims handling environment
- Excellent organization and interpersonal skills
- Punctuality and effective desk management skills
- Strong customer focus and orientation
