Please note that the bursaries are directly disbursed to the institutions as payments for tuition fees. Any additional expenses, such as books, stationery, meals, accommodation, and other related items, are the sole responsibility of the bursary recipient.

Meeting the Eligibility Criteria

If you are interested in applying for the SEIFSA bursaries, we invite you to follow the application process. However, it is prudent for applicants to meet the following eligibility criteria to improve their likelihood of acceptance:

Eligibility Criteria
1 South African citizenship
2 Under the age of 35
3 Currently in Matric or a Matric graduate
4 Achieved high results in Mathematics and Science
5 An overall average of 75% in Matric
6 Registered or provisionally accepted to study towards an undergraduate Engineering qualification in the fields mentioned above at a recognized University or University of Technology in South Africa.
7 Preference is given to employees of SEIFSA member companies and their dependents
