SEIFSA Bursaries 2024 – A Gateway to Progress
The SEIFSA Bursaries 2024 is an initiative designed for capable students, generously providing financial assistance to pursue their higher education. These bursaries cater to individuals aiming to dive into the dynamic world of steel and engineering. The fields of study covered by the bursaries include, but are not restricted to:
- Metallurgical Engineering
- Materials Science
- Electronics Engineering
- Chemical Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Industrial Engineering

- Mechanical Engineering
Please note that the bursaries are directly disbursed to the institutions as payments for tuition fees. Any additional expenses, such as books, stationery, meals, accommodation, and other related items, are the sole responsibility of the bursary recipient.
Meeting the Eligibility Criteria
If you are interested in applying for the SEIFSA bursaries, we invite you to follow the application process. However, it is prudent for applicants to meet the following eligibility criteria to improve their likelihood of acceptance:

| 6 | Registered or provisionally accepted to study towards an undergraduate Engineering qualification in the fields mentioned above at a recognized University or University of Technology in South Africa. |
| 7 | Preference is given to employees of SEIFSA member companies and their dependents |
