Key Responsibilities of the Role:

What’s expected from you in this role?

  • Adept handling of raw materials involving processes such as Put-Away, Cycle Counting, and Picking.
  • Safely loading and unloading stock, strictly complying with Health and Safety standards.
  • Effective use of an Order Picker for secure and efficient stock transportation within the Distribution Centre (DC).
  • Maintaining precise DC inventory records.
  • Systematic stock arrangement for shipment in a neat and orderly manner, including containerization and palletization.
  • Continued adherence to rack stock standards, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
  • Performing maintenance on Order Pickers and swiftly reporting any discrepancies or damages.
  • Participation in other distribution-related activities as commanded by the management.
Qualifications and Experience: Skills and Behaviours:

Experience and knowledge are key in this industry. Hence, the applicant should possess:

  • Grade 12 (Matric) completion.
  • A valid Hyster Driver’s licence for an Order Picker.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a Distribution Centre, with at least 1 year as a Hyster Driver.
