Main Tasks

  • Reviewing loaded trucks to minimise damage while in transit
  • Successfully offloading and confirming goods from trucks and containers
  • Ensuring quality and quantity for received items, collaborating with the quality team for any discrepancies
  • Implementing ISO process standards
  • Verifying and administering invoices/delivery notes, ensuring accurate inventory management
  • Managing courier deliveries, including validation of packages against waybills
  • Timely addressing and reporting any mismatches or non-conformances
  • Following packaging and preservation norms for spare parts
  • Accurate record-keeping and expediting handovers to the dispatch team
  • Upholding standards in housekeeping, health and safety
  • Conducting additional duties, including overtime and ad hoc tasks, as needed

Candidate Profile

Educational Background:

  • Grade 12 or ABET Level 4 certification

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years in a warehouse environment

Skill Set:

  • Must be able to work overtime
  • Distinguished organizational and multitasking abilities
  • An eye for details
  • Impeccable communication abilities with multitier effectiveness
  • Capacity to solve problems independently

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of AS 400 (BELL 400)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • A broad understanding of warehouse operations and logistics
