About PSiRA-YES 2024 Initiative

The Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority (PSiRA), in its quest to further enrich the sector, is offering a 12-month YES (Youth Employment Service) program for candidates eager to embark on internship positions. Eligibility & Application Process

The PSiRA-YES program for 2024 is open to applicants from various fields, each with its specific academic requirements:


Field Academic Requirement
Finance: Debt Collection National Diploma/Degree in Accounting/Cost/Management Accounting or equivalent
Supply Chain Management National Diploma/Degree in Supply Management, Logistics, or equivalent

Selected candidates will be entitled to a stipend based on their NQF level: R5,000 for NQF Level 6 and R6,000 for NQF Level 7.

Application eligibility is determined by the following criteria:

  • Applicant is a South African citizen
  • Applicant is aged between 18 to 35 years
  • Applicant must engage in an agreement with both PSiRA and the YES program
  • Applications are only accepted from individuals who have not previously participated in the YES program or any other internship program
