Location of Operation:
As an employee, You will be operating from numerous locations that spread across South Africa, ranging from Johannesburg, Gauteng to Nelspruit, Mpumalanga, Mahikeng & Potchefstroom in the North-West, and Bloemfontein in the Free State. Other operational areas include Pretoria, Gauteng, Durban in Kwazulu-Natal, and Polokwane in Pretoria, Gauteng.

Operating from Johannesburg, South Africa, their understanding of Red Bull’s target audience forms the fulcrum of enhancing the brand’s image and creating a comprehensive understanding of our products on campus and the nearby regions.
The Role:
As a Red Bull Student Marketeer, your responsibility isn’t just limited to captivating new consumers or intriguing university students. You are looked upon to increase sales, manage the Red Bull brand on your campus, and engage in direct customer interaction. Your role involves enticing product trials, executing campus plans, and creating an exciting brand presence at Red Bull events.
Responsibilities:
- Brand & Product Ambassador
As a Red Bull Student Marketeer, embody Red Bull’s brand personality traits and company values in a premium way. Familiarize users with the brand’s offerings, executing innovative campus plans, establishing a strong network, and maintaining relationships. Drive brand engagement on various social media handles through authentic content creation.
- Sales Expert:
You will also build strong relationships with local sales account managers to ensure Red Bull’s visibility and availability in outlets. Collaborate with the sales department to open new distribution points within the campus and beyond. You will ensure perfect execution of defined store standards.
- Executional Excellence:
You will share ideas and collaborate with the team regularly (both online and face-to-face), plan and report your activities on a timely basis using the dedicated online platform, and contribute to developing the media business by providing insights, trends, and opportunities.
Profile:
As an eligible candidate, you must possess excellent communication skills, charismatic and energetic personality, highly approachable and sociable nature. You should have a thorough understanding of the university, city & region, and should possess creativity, an entrepreneurial spirit, and high responsibility and initiative levels. You should be able to manage part-time work and studies, ideally available to work some evenings and weekends, and have a passion for the Red Bull brand and product.
Other Requirements:
Some other essentials include a driving license (preferred), an affinity to work ‘behind the scenes,’ great team player, availability for part-time work, including evenings and weekends, fluency in English and IsiZulu, SeSotho, SeTswana, and/or Afrikaans (preferred).
