This role comes under the Directorate of Quality Assurance and Administration. The primary role of the registry clerk is to manage the office’s registry and records.

Role Requirements

Candidates must possess a Grade 12 Certificate. While no specific work experience is required, candidates must demonstrate knowledge of registry duties, practice data capturing, and computer operation. Understanding of the legislative framework governing the Public Service and knowledge of storage and retrieval procedures in terms of the working environment is essential.

Expected Skills

Candidates should be competent at planning and organization, possess computer literacy, good communication skills (verbal and written), have good interpersonal relations, and demonstrate the flexibility to work within a team.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate’s responsibilities will include providing registry counter services, handling telephonic and other enquiries, managing incoming and outgoing mail, ensuring effective filing and record management, operating office machines in relation to the registry function, and processing documents for archiving and/or disposal.
