Who Are We Looking For?

We are interested in professionals with a Grade 12/Matric Certificate. Their knowledge should encompass all Labour Legislations and Regulations, Private Employment Agency regulations, and related ILO conventions. An adept understanding of the Public Service Regulations, Public Service Act, Departmental Policies, Procedures and Guidelines, and Batho Pele Principles is also necessary.

Their skill set should include proficiency in Interviewing, Communication, Computer Literacy, and Interpersonal Skills. They should have a good Telephone etiquette and be Innovative/Creative, Client-focused, Disciplined, Self-motivated, and Assertive.

What Would Be Your Role?

As a client service officer, your duties would include rendering services at the help desk as the first point of entry within the Registration Services. Part of your responsibilities would also be rendering Employment Services to all clients who visit the Labour Centre and resolving all complaints on every Labour Legislation received from clients. Moreover, you will be taking charge of receiving all Unemployment Insurance Benefits application and Employer Declarations. Furthermore, you will receive application forms per the Compensation for Injuries & Diseases Act (COIDA) and the employer registration forms for COIDA.
