Eligibility Criteria for Applicants

  • Possession of a Grade 10 certificate with 7-12 months’ experience in driver/messenger role.
  • Holding a valid Code 10 driver’s license with a valid PDP.
  • Good understanding of Public Service Regulations and organizational policies/procedures.
  • Excellent Problem-solving skills, communication abilities, and customer focus.

Job Responsibilities

The selected candidate’s duties will span across various roles including:

  1. Transport services: Documenting trips in log sheets, completing work instructions, transporting goods and services, and loading and dispatching items amongst others.
  2. Vehicle Maintenance: Regular inspection of vehicles, ensuring optimal vehicle condition, monitoring fuel levels, recording vehicle operations and more.
  3. Clerical support services: Facilitating document copying and faxing, courier dispatch, and document sorting/distribution etc.

The successful candidate is also expected to be willing to work extra hours as needed by the department.
