Position:

The vacant post on offer is for a Human Resource Auxiliary Service Clerk within the DHET’s Corporate Services division.

Department:

The successful candidate will serve within the Technical and Vocational Education and Training at the KwaZulu-Natal Regional Office of DHET.

Location:

The service location is Pietermaritzburg. The remuneration package for this post is R202 233 per annum (Level 05).

Requirements:

    The position requires the following qualifications and expertise:

  • A National Senior Certificate /Grade 12 (Vocational) (NCV) certificate (Level 4) certificate.
  • A Bachelor’s degree/National Diploma in Human Resource Management or Public Management will be deemed advantageous.
  • A minimum of one (1) to two (2) years of working experience in a Human Resource Management environment.

Skills:

The applicant should be computer literate, be knowledgeable about Human Resource functions, and be able to work independently while adhering to deadlines. Interpersonal and communication skills are vital, with ethical and accountable conduct a prerequisite.

  • Implementation of Human Resource practices including Recruitment, Selection and employee benefits.
  • Administer Performance and Development system.
  • Render registry services and Assist in leave management.
