Job Overview

Anglo American Platinum is seeking applications for our Engineering Exposure Training program operating in Rustenburg at Waterval Smelters/ACP/PMR/RBMR. Applications from local communities are given precedence, in line with our commitment to foster talent.

Job Description

  • Fitter (2 positions)
  • Electrician (2 positions)
  • Boilermaker Plater (1 position)
  • Millwright (2 positions)

Picked candidates will be enrolled in an external Unemployed (18.2 B1) Learnerships program, paving the path to become certified Artisans.

Qualification Criteria

Applicants must have:

  • Matric with Mathematics, Physical Science, and English (min 40% pass).
  • N2 or equivalent with subjects relevant to the respective discipline.
  • NCV Level-4 in a suitable trade with a minimum 40% pass.
  • Trade Test Requirements: N2 Subjects/certificate in Mathematics, Engineering Science, Relevant Trade Theory, plus either Industrial Electronics, Engineering Drawings, or Plating Structural Drawings.
