Successful candidates, once selected, will enter into a 12-month contract with the service provider chosen by the Department of Tourism. They would then be stationed at attractions or sites close to their places of residence. The programme spans a year, comprising three months of theoretical training followed by nine months of practical training.

- Residential within a 28-kilometer radius of the designated attractions/sites supported by proof of residence such as a municipal bill, or a letter from a tribal authority or ward councilor.
- Flexibility in availability, including weekends, public holidays, and ad hoc scheduling.
- A genuine passion for the tourism sector.
- No more than one learner per household.
- Affidavits aren’t considered valid proof of residence.
- Applications or documents sent via fax or email are deemed unacceptable.
- People with disabilities are highly encouraged to register for the programme.
Application Procedure
