An Overview of the Learning Journey

The core aim of the program is to provide participants with essential skills, in-depth knowledge, and practical experience. They will acquire proficiency across various departments, which includes Customer Care, Claims Capturing, and Retentions

Areas Covered Description
Customer Needs Identification Participants will get hands-on experience in understanding customer profiles and identifying relevant actions to fulfill customer needs. They will employ various methods to ensure customer satisfaction
Sales of Customer Propositions Learnership participants will identify, recommend, and explain products or services that match the customer’s needs. They will facilitate purchases at standard terms and conditions
Performance Management They will also effectively manage their workflow to meet operational requirements and service delivery targets, contributing to organizational objectives by achieving targets such as talk time, sales, and lead targets
CRM Data Participants will learn to schedule follow-up actions and record relevant information in the customer relationship management system. To enhance customer retention, they will also create a call plan to support business development activities
Operational Compliance The learnership includes a comprehensive understanding of the organization’s policies, procedures, and relevant regulatory codes. Participants will adhere to these policies to ensure work meets the required standards
Personal Capability Building Finally, the program also aims to enhance personal capabilities through participation in assessment and development planning activities, formal and informal training and coaching, and ongoing education relating to the products, technology, external regulations, and industry best practices

Requirements

Applicants with a Matric / Grade 12 or SAQA Accredited Equivalent qualification are welcome to apply. Having prior experience in a Call Centre, Sales, or Customer Care would be advantageous. Knowledge of short-term Insurance Industry will be a plus. Applicants should be aged between 18-30, proficient in English and resident within the Gauteng region is essential. They should have a clean criminal record and should not have participated in any prior learnerships.
