The primary role of this position is to provide exhaustive administration and telephony services to our valued policyholders, as well as our internal and external customers.
- Completion of Matric/Grade 12
- 2 years of client service experience within a call centre environment, handling calls and related administrative functions
- Proficiency in English language and understanding of two or more additional South African languages
- A comprehensive understanding of the long-term insurance industry and in-house systems
Duties & Responsibilities
This role involves managing all incoming communications and associated paperwork resulting from customer interactions. Adherence to performance norms is essential, as is maintaining service level agreements. It is also crucial to foster, develop and maintain productive and collaborative working relationships with colleagues.
Furthermore, the successful candidate will be involved in and positively influence relevant change initiatives. Client inquiries will be investigated according to the service level agreement, and timely feedback will be provided to clients. Referrals of client inquiries to relevant departments or stakeholders will be part of the job.
