We have available Permanent Positions for 10 Cashiers (x10) who will be working in the Finance Department of our Metro Bus Branch. The main designation of these roles will be handling the cash flow within various outlets and depots with a competitive remuneration package.

The main goal of these roles is managing funds collected effectively and their prompt banking.

Essential Requirements Key Performance Areas Knowledge, Skills, and Attributes
  • Matric (Grade 12) qualification
  • Finance, accounting, banking-related tertiary education
  • Minimum 2-year relevant work experience
  • Timely and accurate processing of sales
  • Collecting cash from customers and bus operators
  • Selling bus tags
  • Balancing cash at shift-end
  • Frequent banking and reconciliation of collected cash
  • Minimizing fraud, risks, and losses
  • Prompt, accurate maintenance of cash office equipment
  • Computer literacy
  • Experience in financial and banking tasks
  • Trustworthiness, especially with managing cash
  • Excellent time management
  • Clear criminal record and no ITC listing
