Thanks to its world-class manufacturing facilities, AVI is well equipped to provide hands-on training in the fields of Electricity, Millwright, Fitter, and Instrumentation. Apprenticeship Responsibilities

As an apprentice within AVI, your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Treating workplace materials and instructions as the property of the employer.
  • Fulfilling your role with grace and professionalism, always.
  • Possessing your training records and disclosing them to the employer/training organization when asked.
  • Settling tuition and student fee payments to your training organization (the employer might cover these expenses).
  • Preserving the confidentiality of information entrusted to you by the employer.
  • Complying with health and safety regulations, dress codes, conduct guidelines, and all applicable laws of the workplace.
  • Attending work and meet performance goals as per the training plan and completing responsibilities as instructed.
  • Following all your employer’s legally required instructions promptly.

In order to qualify for the apprenticeships, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Must hold a valid Matric certificate.
  • Completed FET College with at least N2 qualification in the relevant Engineering Trades: Instrumentation, Boilermaker, Millwright.
  • Available to start immediately.
