Applicant Qualifications and Experience

  1. A Grade 12 or equivalent certificate,
  2. Relevant qualification in Supply Chain Management with 1-year experience in an Asset Management Department,
  3. Computer literacy, knowledge of PFMA, SCM Policies and Treasury Regulations,
  4. Knowledge of BAS and Asset ware,
  5. Good communication skills (verbal & written), organisational and problem-solving skills,
  6. Ability to work under pressure, and
  7. A valid driver`s license.

Duties for Successful Applicant

  • To control assets within the Campus,
  • Ensure all assets are correctly captured on Asset ware,
  • Update information on Asset ware monthly,
  • Control the movement of assets, maintain accurate inventory lists,
  • Perform periodic physical verification of assets,
  • Participate in the preparation of annual financial statements, and
  • Ensure a seamless and well-coordinated asset register, amongst many more.
