Spreading the News: (36 Positions Up for Grabs) Department of Agriculture, Land Reform and Rural Development – Applications Open Until 2nd October 2023!

The Department of Agriculture, Land Reform and Rural Development is issuing an open call for thirty-six (36) positions within their ranks. This opportunity’s application window will come to a close on the 2nd of October 2023, promptly at 16:00.

Aspiring candidates are expected to follow the application process meticulously. It is crucial to submit a fully-filled and signed Z83 Form – a document which you can procure from any Public Service Department or download from the Department of Public Service and Administration (DPSA) website. Aside from the Z83 Form, applicants are also advised to enclose a comprehensive Curriculum Vitae.

Please be informed that the above-mentioned documents are only to be furnished by candidates who have been shortlisted, to be presented before the day of the interview. Non-compliance will result in the disqualification of your application. For applicants with foreign qualifications, an evaluation report from the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) is necessary. Consequently, the onus falls on the applicants to procure this evaluation report from SAQA.

Successful candidates are required to undergo and pass a security clearance process. Furthermore, newly appointed staff will be asked to enter into an employment contract and sign a performance agreement with the Department. Importantly, all applicants need to declare potential conflicts of (or perceived conflicts of) interest and disclose any memberships of Boards and directorships they may have.
