Vacancies Overview

The available cleaner vacancies are listed as REF NO: (X3 POSTS) under the Support Services directorate for the Tara the H. Moross Centre, located in Sandton. These positions offer a salary range of R125 373 – R145 077 per annum, excluding benefits. The deadline for applications is set for 27 October 2023.

Requirements

  • Grade 10-12 or an equivalent qualification
  • A minimum one (1) year or more of proven cleaning experience
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Capability to use cleaning machines and equipment
  • An understanding of government policies
  • Preparedness to work shifts, including weekends, public holidays, and night duty
  • Knowledge of the ideal hospital framework

Candidates having hospital experience have an added employment advantage.

Duties

  1. Cleaning of facilities office, toilets, passages, and waiting areas.
  2. Dusting, washing, scrubbing, and polishing floors, walls, windows, side walls, etc.
  3. Cleaning equipment and washing dustbins.
  4. Removing waste in adherence to health waste management policy.
  5. Operating heavy-duty cleaning machines.
