Job Requirements

Prospective applicants should be in possession of a Minimum of Grade 10 or higher. Previous experience in a hospital or clinical environment performing cleaning or laundry duties is a recommendation. Applicants must be self-motivated, service-oriented, and capable of working as part of a team. Ability to work in shifts is crucial. Applicants should possess basic literacy skills.

Duties

The primary duties of the successful candidates include:

  • Floor cleaning and mopping.
  • Cleaning lockers, steel dust bins, and basins.
  • Toilet cleaning and checklist maintenance three times a day.
  • Correct use of cleaning equipment and chemicals.
  • Replacing towels and refilling soap dispensers in various areas like cubicles, bathrooms, and toilet.
  • Performing terminal cleaning and disinfection.
  • Day-to-day cleaning of hospital machinery, double mop units, mops, buckets, and dusters.
  • Cleaning and maintaining the equipment at least three times a week.
