Qualifications & Experience:
- Matric qualification.
- Valid driver’s license (Code 10).
- Robust communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Good understanding of DHL Operations Systems.
- Experience in the courier industry with an Operations background.
| Key Responsibilities | Description |
|---|---|
| Shipment Handling | Accelerate the clearance of both inbound and outbound WPX shipments & international documents. A careful eye for correct documentation and proper bagging of all shipments. |
| Export Documentation | Arrange the necessary documents such as invoices, pro-forma’s, and customs clearance forms for dutiable WPX shipments to secure smooth network passage. |
| Inbound Materials | Ensure prompt clearance of inbound materials within 45 minutes of aircraft arrival. |
| Organization & Monitoring | Efficient receiving, bagging, and scanning of shipments based on destination codes, and keen observation for timely upliftment of shipments. |
| Labeling & Dispatch | Hang and label bags ready for dispatch based on the destination codes, along with ensuring timely collection by airlines or road haulers. |
| Quality Control | Notify the Supervisor about damaged shipments and have them sorted according to DHL standards. |
| Safety & Compliance | Maintain communication with security officers about seal numbers and manifest preparations while adhering to a 20kg weight limit per bag as per network standards, following GSOP rules, and never wavering from quality. |
| Support & Assistance | Offer assistance to supervisors with daily operations as needed. |
