The VKB Agriculture Graduate Programme
The VKB Agriculture Graduate Programme focuses on molding skillful Quality Assurance professionals. The programme lies within the Governance, Risk, and Compliance department of the VKB Information and Technology department. Its primary focus remains as a component of the Quality Assurance Team. Under this structure, the Quality Assurance Graduate reports directly to the Quality Assurance Lead, ultimately to the I&T Manager: Governance Risk and Compliance.
The QA Graduate plays a key role in collaborating with the Quality Assurance (QA) Team. Their primary task involves ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions that adhere to predetermined standards and meet the product owners’ expectations. They engage in designing and executing both manual and automated testing procedures while adhering to the QA framework and best practices.
This all-inclusive approach ensures consistent delivery of software solutions that do not only meet the quality standards but also align with industry best practices. The Quality Assurance Graduate is required to:
- Understand and impress upon the Software Quality Assurance Methodology, Framework, and Team Guidelines.
- Participate in both Business As Usual (BAU) project testing activities, ensuring alignment with the Quality Assurance Methodology and Framework.
- Proactively analyze test results to spot trends and identify the root causes of test failures
- Stay updated with testing best practices and industry trends.
- Take part in all prescribed training sessions covering QA principles, Automation Tool requirements, and ERP functionality.
- Provide structured and metric-based progress reports on testing assignments.
- Uphold the highest standards of customer service for VKB Operational departments, aiming to feature the QA brand as a leader in execution and innovation.
