Qualifications You Will Need:

  • Successful completion of Grade 12 (Matric Certificate).
  • Zero previous work experience, making it an ideal fit for freshers.
  • Basic awareness of registry responsibilities and practices to ensure smooth operations.
  • Capability to input data with speed and accuracy.
  • Familiarity with a computer and its operations.
  • A decent understanding of the legislative regulations shaping the Public Service.
  • Proficiency in storage and retrieval approaches
  • Ability to understand and execute registry work.
  • Effective planning and organization skills.
  • Competency in operating a computer to maintain data and correspondence.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  1. Assisting with counter services at the registry.
  2. Resolving client queries and feedbacks.
  3. Handling the receipt and registration of mail or files delivered in person.
  4. Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence efficiently.
  5. Sorting, recording, and distributing all mail appropriately.
  6. Distributing updates on registry matters.
  7. Ensuring effective record management and filing procedures.
  8. Administering the opening and closing of files in line with the record classification protocol.
