Eligibility Criteria

Before applying for the PPC Cement Learnerships, it is important to review the eligibility requirements thoroughly. The following criteria serve to ascertain your compatibility with the position:

• Possession of a valid Driver’s license Code 8.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Willingness to work overtime as necessary.
• Ability to take on additional tasks as needed.
• Successful clearance of a pre-employment medical examination.
• Development of technical aptitude, innovative and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated with a readiness to learn.
• Provision of training at the PPC Technical Skills Academy – Mahikeng for Fitter & Turner, Boilermaker, and Electrical functions as required.
• Achievement of a minimum qualification of N2 with the following subjects: Electrical Trade Theory / Fitting and Turning Trade Theory / Platers Trade Theory, Mathematics, Engineering Science, Industrial Electronics.
