Rand Water is looking for candidate who will be responsible for maintaining,manufacturing and installing ofpipelines and structural equipment.
Minimum Requirements
Grade 12 or equivalent.
Qualified Welder.
Minimum N3 coupled with Trade test.
3-5 years relevant welding experience.
Ability to do relevant maintenance on pipelines.
Code 10 driver’s license coupled with a PrDP is essential.
Primary Duties
Maintenance of pipelines & structural equipment.
Repairing pipelines.
Standby duties.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
Fabricate/make up pipe work.
Knowledge
General maintenance.
Safety and safe working procedures.
Skills
Problem solving skills.
Communication skills.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
