Job Description
KAMOA COPPER SA is looking for a Superintendent II, Reporting and Management Analysis The Kamoa Copper Mine, is a joint venture between Ivanhoe Mines (39.6%), Zijin Mining Group (39.6%), Crystal River Global Limited (0.8%) and the Government of the Democratic Republic of Congo (20%). It’s a very large, near-surface, flat-lying, stratiform copper deposit with adjacent prospective exploration areas within the Central African Copperbelt, at approximately 25 kilometres west of the town of Kolwezi and about 270 kilometres west of the provincial capital of Lubumbashi.Play your part in our team succeeding…To plan and prepare budgets and forecasts. To manage and control cost allocation against the approved budgets and to analyse and report on the costs, in order to improve production efficiency and assist management to make informed decisions. The incumbent also supervises the work of a Senior Officer, Cost Controller.You will have the following:Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in Financial and Management AccountingExperience in the mining environment is preferred and highly advantageousMinimum of 3 years relevant experience of the Smelter Plant Proficiency in business English is mandatory.
