Managed Talent Solutions’ external client is looking for a Specialist Time & Access for one of their clients based in Johannesburg. This is a fixed contract to end of 2024, further extension might be possible depending client requirements. The Specialist Time & Access must have experience in monitoring the work and overall performance of the regional Time & Attendance technology systems for all mining operations. You must have experience in designing the architecture and components of Time & Attendance management systems, including access control systems and hardware.Key outputs:- Monitor the work and overall performance of the regional Time & Attendance technology systems for all mining operations.- Evaluate and ensure processing performance relating to system and machine utilisation, reliability and capacity- Forecast financial, physical, and human resource needs to meet established objectives- Manage all licensing exposure within the Time and Attendance infrastructure.- Provide experience (Level 3) support for IM service specialists concerning Time and Attendance for all to Access control Infrastructure.- Manage all risks relating to the Time & Attendance environment.- Manage costs associated with the Time & Attendance transparently and effectively, including investment choices and budgeting to ensure equipment is “healthy.”- Own a monthly, global service delivery review with the Time & Attendance vendors, with input from the regions- Act as the subject matter escalation point for regional incidents or complex site incidents related to Time & Attendance infrastructure.- Manage the performance of the vendors, and ensure they are meeting or exceeding their contractual commitments for services and projects, including those delivered directly to the BU’s- Understand technological trends and use this knowledge to bring solutions to business units supported to enhance the enterprise’s competitive edge-Oversee and coordinate frameworks, designs, blueprints and restoration plans that isolate problems and implement pre-planned alternative routes or systems to restore service in the Time & Attendance environment.- Develop business and technology standards and best practices for the Time & Attendance environment in all mining operations and disciplines.- Requirements Analysis involves gathering and analyzing users’ and stakeholders’ requirements to understand their needs and expectations for protection management systems.- System Design: Designing the architecture and components of Time & Attendance management systems, including access control systems and hardware.- Integration Planning: Planning and implementing integration between different Time & Attendance management systems and other enterprise systems to facilitate seamless data exchange and interoperability.- Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Monitoring the performance of Time & Attendance management systems and optimizing their configuration, resources, and processes to improve efficiency, scalability, and reliability.Qualifications:An undergraduate qualification (bachelor’s degree or equivalent) in the relevant IM Discipline and TechnicalIt would be advantageous to have a postgraduate qualification in the related IM discipline OR a proven track record of extensive practical experience in a role and context of similar complexity.Certifications:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in the relevant IM Discipline and Technicala Postgraduate qualification in the related IM discipline Technical knowledge:Translating ideas into practical initiatives to be implemented and a demonstration of successful execution and delivery of initiatives within the Project Management areaIndustry Knowledge requirements:IT and OT discipline and governanceChange management and stakeholder engagementProficiency in required languages.
