Qualification:
NQF Level 7 (National diploma in farm management, BAgric administration, Degree/Diploma in Crop Science, Agribusiness.NQF Level 7( Bsc Agricultural Economics, Honours in Project Management, Environmental economics, Bsc Animal Production, Bsc Agronomy or Bsc Plant Production).
Experience:
Strong analytical skills and demonstrated experience in business plan development, financial analysis, and market research.
7+ years’ professional experience in farming and have practical exposure to on- farm production, value chain development and leading agricultural enterprises.
Registration with recognised agricultural organisations such as AEASA or any relevant body is advantageous.
At least 3-5 years’ experience working as a farm manager/ farm supervisor is advised.
Must be computer literate and possess sound knowledge of Public Finance Management Act (PFMA) and a track record in production risk management.
Expertise in food production, customer safety, intuitive management skills. The candidate should possess expertise in managing mix- farming operations for vegetables and livestock production
