DescriptionHire Resolve’s client, a leading financial technology company, is urgently seeking a Senior Risk Analyst Team Lead to join their team in Johannesburg.In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of risk analysts and overseeing the implementation of risk management strategies and procedures. You will work closely with stakeholders to identify risks, analyze data, and develop risk mitigation strategies. Additionally, you will be responsible for monitoring the effectiveness of risk management activities and providing recommendations for improvement.If you are a highly skilled risk management professional with strong leadership abilities and a track record of success, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.ResponsibilitiesLead a team of risk analysts and provide guidance and supportDevelop and implement risk management strategies and proceduresIdentify and assess potential risks within the organizationAnalyze data to identify trends and patternsCollaborate with stakeholders to develop risk mitigation strategiesMonitor the effectiveness of risk management activitiesProvide recommendations for improvementStay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in risk managementRequirementsBachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as finance, business administration, or risk managementMinimum of 5 years of experience in risk management or a related fieldPrior experience in a leadership or team lead roleStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent knowledge of risk management principles and methodologiesAbility to work well in a team environment and collaborate with stakeholdersExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsProficiency in risk management software and toolsBenefitsSalary R450K/yr – R500K/yr.
