ROLE PURPOSEManages the organization’s employment costs and direct the activities of payroll staff, monitors the payroll processing objectives including audits and relevant legislative compliance (affecting employer/employee relationship)MAIN OUTPUTSOccupational TasksManage accurate payment of employees within a companyOversee and manage overall company payroll objectivesManage compliance to policies, procedures and legislation to mitigate governance risksManage accurate payment of employees within the companyCompliant and accurate payrollDetermine employee costs to the company and ensure complaint and accurate payrollApply and implement proper procedures and ensure compliant and accurate payrollOversee and manage overall company payroll objectivesManage department strategyIdentify and manage areas of customer service impact (internal and third party)Plan, organize and monitor work within the payroll environmentCoordinate completion of year end procedures (monthly, quarterly and bi-annual)Conduct (predictive analysis) business intelligence reports for payroll functionsImplement procedures for managing areas within the payroll environment and of customer service impact (internal and third party)Implement procedures for completion of year end payroll proceduresImplement process of conducting (predictive analysis) business intelligence reporting to improve employment costImplement procedures for managing audits for payrollManage compliance of policies, procedures, and legislation to mitigate governance risksComplaint payroll functionDevelop and manage payroll audits for the payroll departmentImplement procedures to conduct payroll audits for the payroll departmentQUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLSThe Applicant must meet the following requirements:B-Com HR / or RelatedMatric / Grade 12Valid SA driver’s licenseMinimum 10 years at a Payroll Management level, with practical monthly reconciliation to confirm balance due, EMP201 (monthly), processing of monthly payment, conducting Bi-Annual recons, Finalizing EMP501 (annual submissions, application of ETI legislation and Returns, UIF, and Skills Legislation and Returns, SARS Regulation, Compliance to Safety Health Environmental Risk and Quality (SHERQ), Compliance to relevant Labour and Equity Legislation Laws, Compliance with COIDA, Compliance of Tax and Company Statutes, Human Resources Management, Payroll Theory and Application, Payroll Accounting, Business Intelligence Reporting and Payroll AuditsContinuous Self DevelopmentKnowledge of D365 modules will be an advantage.Advanced Computer literacy with advanced knowledge of MS Office software.
