Our client, an established Investment Manager, is currently seeking a Senior Credit Analyst with Asset Management experience to join their team of professionals in Johannesburg.Responsibilities:Analyze financial data and credit history to determine the likelihood of a borrower honoring their financial obligationsEvaluate the overall creditworthiness of existing and prospective clientsComplete detailed financial ratio, trend, and cash flow analysesCreate projections and forecasts based on financial dataPrepare credit risk assessment reports and make recommendations to senior managementStay updated with market trends, legal and compliance requirements, and industry best practicesEnsure compliance with credit policies and guidelinesMonitor loan portfolios for compliance and risk assessmentCollaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to gather relevant informationStay informed about changes in regulations and market conditions that may impact credit decisions Requirements:Proven working experience as a Credit Analyst, preferably in a senior role3-5 years Asset Management experienceStrong knowledge of financial analysis, credit risk assessment, and credit evaluation methodologiesFamiliarity with regulatory requirements and compliance guidelinesExcellent analytical skills with attention to detailAbility to effectively communicate complex financial information to stakeholdersProficient in using financial software and tools for analysis and reportingBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related fieldProfessional certifications in credit analysis or risk management are a plusExperience in the banking or financial services industry is preferredAbility to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teamsStrong problem-solving and decision-making skillsBenefits:Market-related salary Contact RPO Recruitment for your next career opportunity.
