LOCATION: Johannesburg  PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THIS JOB:As a Project Manager, you will oversee and coordinate all aspects of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and according to specifications. Your role involves planning, organizing, and leading project teams to achieve project goals and deliverables. KEY RESULT AREAS:Project Planning and Scheduling:Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and schedules, considering scope, budget, and resource constraints.Identify project milestones, deliverables, and dependencies, and establish clear objectives and success criteria.Regularly review and update project plans, adjusting schedules and resource allocations as needed to ensure project goals are metTeam Leadership and Coordination:Lead and motivate project teams, assigning tasks, setting expectations, and providing guidance and support to team members.Foster a collaborative and positive team environment, encouraging open communication, teamwork, and problem-solving.Stakeholder Management:Identify project stakeholders, including clients, sponsors, and other key stakeholders, and establish effective communication channels.Manage stakeholder expectations, providing regular updates on project progress, risks, and issues, and addressing concerns and feedback.Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring alignment on project objectives, priorities, and outcomes.Quality Assurance:Establish quality standards and metrics for project deliverables, ensuring adherence to specifications, requirements, and industry best practices.Conduct regular quality reviews and inspections of project work products, identifying defects, deficiencies, and areas for improvement.Implement corrective actions and quality improvement measures to enhance the quality and reliability of project outcomes.General Conduct:Adhere to company policies, procedures, and ethical standards at all times.Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and respect in all interactions.Collaborate effectively with team members and contribute to a positive work environment.Consistent demonstration of professional conduct and adherence to company values.Contribution to a positive team culture and cohesive work environment.QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor’s degree in project management, business administration, or related field.EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Proven experience in project management, with a track record of successfully managing projects from initiation to completion.SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.Excellent communication, leadership, and team collaboration skills.Proficiency in project management software and tools.
