Job Description
Hire Resolve is seeking a Packing and Dispatch Superintendent to join their client in Port Shepstone.In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the packing and dispatch operations to ensure the efficient and timely delivery of products to customers. You will manage a team of packing and dispatch staff, monitor inventory levels, and maintain compliance with quality and safety standards.Responsibilities:Supervise and coordinate packing and dispatch operationsManage a team of packing and dispatch staffEnsure orders are packed accurately and timelyDevelop and manage systems and processes.Ensure all work carried out complies with legislation and quality systems (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001)Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production to ensure availability of productsMaintain compliance with quality, health, and safety standardsOptimize packing and dispatch processes for efficiency and cost-effectivenessAddress any issues or delays in packing and dispatch operationsCoordinate with logistics providers and ensure timely delivery of productsCollaborate with other departments to meet customer requirements and resolve any packing and dispatch issuesRequirements:Bsc Supply Chain Management or equivalentMinimum 3 years experience in managementExperience in Plant OperationsStrong leadership and supervisory skillsFinancial understanding with prior experience in budgeting, forecasting and cost management.Excellent organizational and multitasking abilitiesWarehouse management will be advantageousKnowledge of the packaging and dispatching industry a mustAttention to detail and accuracyKnowledge of quality and safety standardsGood communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlinesProficient in using computer systems and softwareBenefits:Salary: negotiablePaid Time Off (PTO) (if applicable) Contact Hire Resolve for your next career-changing move.Salary: negotiable.Our client is offering a highly competitive salary for this role based on experience.Apply for this role today, contact Rebecca Grylls, Ashley Feldtmann or Thomas Stacey at Hire Resolve or on LinkedInYou can also visit the Hire Resolve website: hireresolve.us or email us your CV: [email protected] We will contact you telephonically in 3 days should you be suitable for this vacancy.
