DescriptionHire Resolve’s client in the Investment Industry is urgently seeking a highly skilled Operations Specialist to join their team in Cape Town.ResponsibilitiesPosition within the operations team, principally as an operations specialist.The Purpose of this role is to contribute to and promote robust operating procedures across the investment management business to create and efficient, responsive and process driven operations teamAssist with investment reporting and analysisCollaborate with internal teams to optimize operational processesStay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory changesProvide support to the investment team in various ad-hoc tasks as requiredRequirementsAppropriate finance qualification: Chartered Accountant. Specialist qualification in financial services would be advantageous.Self driven with at least 2-5 years working in operations in the financial services industry( Preferably in fund management)Experience with reconciliations and cash management essentialStrong communicator and team playerRelevant computer skills and systems experience , including advanced excel skills.
