Matric (Grade 12)
PSIRA Grade C certificate
A Valid NKP Certificate
SAPS issued Firearms Competency Certificate for Handgun and Shot Gun
3 years experience in a security environment
Computer literacy
Shift work
Security Control Room Training Certificate from SASSETA and or PSIRA Accredited Training Institution
Primary Duties
Monitoring CCTV cameras
Monitoring the Access Control System
Monitoring the Fire Detection System and all other emergency systems
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders during emergency situations
Enrol and terminate staff on the access system
Inspection and testing of emergency equipment
Keep record of, and maintain accurate and real time information relating to all reported incidents
Ensure that all security registers and inspection reports are always updated and accessible
Report all and any anomaly observed from the monitored CCTV.
