We are looking for a Mechanic to join our team at our EAST LONDON branch.Mechanic requirements: Requirements / Personal Attributes:Presentable appearance and sober habitsExcellent timekeeping skillsNo criminal recordStrong interpersonal skillsAbility to work under pressureAbility to train co-workersStrong troubleshooting and fault-finding skillsA working understanding of electrical DBs and wiringExperience with diagnostics equipment and ECU’sComputer literateStrong technical background.Strong knowledge on reconning starters, alternators and all electrical componentsStrong knowledge of ECU’s and key codingStrong knowledge of programming ECU’sBe able to work in a team environment.Set high standards and well-defined realistic goals both personally and within the teamShould be able to carry out work in accordance with professional standards and have thorough knowledge in the fieldKnowledge of Siphoning fuel from a car Qualifications / Experience:Trade test motor mechanic (red seal)5-7 years’ experience in diagnostics and fault findingValid driver’s license Duties: Perform service, repair and maintenance on customer’s vehiclesMechanical and Electronic DiagnosticsMaintain a safe and clean work environmentOrder and source partsDiagnosing and fault finding on ECU’sRepairing all electrical components on a motor vehicleRepairing wiring and ECU’s on a motor vehicleCoding keys and programming ECU’s on a motor vehicleBenefits:Salary market – relatedMomentum FundsAtWork Provident Fund15 days Annual Leave
