Our well-established client in the pharmaceutical industry has a vacancy available for a Manager of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Non-Profit Organization to be based at the Parktown office. Main Purpose of JobThe Manager of the CSR Non-Profit Organization is responsible for leading, managing, and advancing the nonprofit’s mission in alignment with the founding company’s social responsibility goals. This individual will oversee all aspects of the non-profit’s operations, including program development, fundraising, marketing, financial management, and community relations. The role demands a commitment to ethical leadership, transparency, and community engagement, aiming to create sustainable, positive impacts in the communities served.Key Performance Areas (Core, essential responsibilities –outputs of the position)1 Strategic Planning and Leadership: Develop and implement a strategic plan that aligns with both the non-profit’s mission and theparent company’s CSR objectives. Lead the organization towards achieving its short-term and long-term goals while ensuringfinancial health and operational efficiency. Represent the organization in all professional business capacities, enhancing its public image andexpanding community awareness and support.2 Program Development and Management: Design, implement, and evaluate programs that fulfill the organization’s mission and respond tocommunity needs. Ensure programs are effective, sustainable, and aligned with the broader CSR strategy of theparent company. Collaborate with stakeholders to continuously assess and address community needs and programimpact.3 Fundraising and Financial Management: Develop and execute a fundraising strategy to secure grants, donations, and other sources offunding. Oversee financial management, including budget planning, resource allocation, and financialreporting, ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements. Cultivate strong relationships with donors, sponsors, and partners to support the organization’sfinancial health and programmatic goals.4 Marketing and Communication: Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing and communications plan to enhancevisibility, support fundraising, and engage the community. Utilize various platforms, including social media, to promote the organization’s activities,achievements, and needs. Ensure consistent and effective branding and messaging across all channels and materials.5 Community Engagement and Partnership Development: Build and maintain strong relationships with community leaders, organizations, and the parentcompany to enhance the non-profit’s reach and impact. Engage in advocacy and public speaking to raise awareness and support for the organization’scauses. Partner with other organizations and stakeholders to maximize resource sharing and programeffectiveness.6 Compliance and Governance: Ensure the organization adheres to all legal, regulatory, and ethical standards applicable tonon-profits and CSR initiatives. Work closely with the board of directors to ensure governance practices are transparent,ethical, and aligned with the mission. Maintain accurate records and reporting to support decision-making and demonstrateaccountability to stakeholders.Minimum RequirementsEDUCATION Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Social Sciences, or related fields.EXPERIENCE. Proven experience in non-profit management, CSR, or related field.(May be an advantage) Strong leadership, strategic planning, and organizational skills. Excellent communication, fundraising, and financial management abilities. Deep understanding of community needs and non-profit sector challenges. Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.SKILLS/PHYSICAL COMPETENCIES Highly Computer Literate Good Organization SkillsBEHAVIOURAL QUALITIES Good Communication Skills (Verbal and Written) Tolerant and Understanding Interpersonal Skills Ability to work under pressure Good Time Management Skills Planning and Organising Deadline Driven Self Motivated Use InitiativeGeneral working conditions (e.g. shift work, driver’s license, specific tools, special clothing,environmental requirements, etc.) Drivers Licence Motor Vehicle Need to be able to work overtime when requested.Please attach cv, qualifications, id and driver’s license
