Job Description
Hire Resolve’s client is seeking an experienced Import Airfreight Supervisor to join their team in the Western Cape. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in freight forwarding logistics and a thorough understanding of import airfreight operations.Responsibilities:Oversee the import airfreight operations, including receiving, routing, and dispatching shipmentsCoordinate with carriers, customs agents, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goodsProvide guidance and support to the import airfreight team, including training, performance evaluations, and schedulingMonitor and analyze import airfreight processes to identify areas for improvement and implement best practicesEnsure compliance with all relevant regulations and requirements, including customs clearance proceduresMaintain accurate records of import airfreight shipments and prepare reports for managementRequirements:Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related fieldMinimum 10 years of relevant International Trade (Import Air) and freight forwarding experienceDangerous Goods awarenessStrong knowledge of customs regulations, import procedures, and airfreight documentation requirementsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work under pressure and meet tight deadlinesStrong leadership and problem-solving abilitiesProficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics softwareContact Hire Resolve for your next career-changing move.Salary: negotiable.Our client is offering a highly competitive salary for this role based on experience.Apply for this role today, contact Rebecca Grylls or Ashley Feldtmann at Hire Resolve or on LinkedInYou can also visit the Hire Resolve website: hireresolve.us or email us your CV: [email protected]We will contact you telephonically in 3 days should you be suitable for this vacancy.
