Job Title: Mid-Level HydrogeologistLocation: Johannesburg, South AfricaJob Summary: Hire Resolve’s client, a leading firm in the Water & Environmental Consulting Industry, is looking for a motivated and experienced Hydrogeologist to join their team in Johannesburg. As a Hydrogeologist, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects involving water resource management, groundwater modeling, and environmental impact assessments.Responsibilities:Proficient in handling intricate groundwater projects and componentsAbility to effectively meet deadlines, budgets, and delegate tasksExperience in managing fieldwork and subcontractorsExceptional skills in interpreting data accuratelyEnsuring that all project components adhere to high-quality standards and safety protocolsDemonstrating heightened awareness and responsibility in contributing to overall group and unit revenue, as well as staff resourcingExperience to the level of an independent consultantExpertise in geophysics, pump testing and conceptual modellingExpertise in ArcGIS and mapping skillsReport writing and preparation of proposalsAssist with development of clients and attracting new clientsRequirements:Bachelor’s Honours or Master’s degree in HydrogeologyRegsitered as Pr Sci NatMinimum of 5 years of experience as a Hydrogeologist in the water and environmental consulting industry – mostly spent on mining projectsStrong knowledge of hydrogeological principles, groundwater modeling, and data analysisProficiency in groundwater modeling software (e.g., MODFLOW, FEFLOW)Excellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsProject management and report writing skillsExpertise in geophysics, pump testing, ArcGIS and mapping skillsValid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites as neededContact Hire Resolve for you next career-changing move.Salary: negotiable.Our client is offering a highly competitive salary for this role based on experience.Apply for this role today, contact Alyssa Marson at Hire Resolve or on LinkedInYou can also visit the Hire Resolve website: hireresolve.us or email us your CV: [email protected] We will contact you telephonically in 3 days should you be suitable for this vacancy.
