Position : Hybrid Sales ConsultantMain purpose of job: Source and sell armed monitoring and armed response agreements to potential new customersSource and sell new and alarm system upgrades, additions to alarm systems, CCTV systems, electric fences to potential customersAchieve and exceed monthly sales targets for new customers and hardware salesQualification & experience:Previous sales experience, with proven track record in sales preferably capital goods sales (not FMCG)Knowledge of intruder detection equipment such as IDS, DSC alarm systems is advantageousMatric or equivalentJob requirements & other attributes:Self-motivated and energeticSelling skillsGood organisational and time management skillsExcellent communication (written & verbal), presentation and negotiation skillsComputer Literate (MS Office, Email and Internet)Presentable and of sober habitsValid driver’s licence – (Compulsory)Own reliable vehicle – (Compulsory)PSIRA Grade C – (Advantageous)Hunter for new businessAptitude for electronic and technical equipment (alarms and alarm monitoring platforms)Duties: Generate and close self-sourced dealsFollow up on all leads received internally and via telesalesSell security solutions to new and existing clientsCreate solid & long-standing relationships with estate agents, builders, architects etc.Daily, weekly and monthly reportingMotivated to achieve and exceed sale targetsMaintain all administrative duties pertaining to salesPerformance Standards Achieve both targets for revenue sales & for new clientsMaintain a high standard of relationship with existing Estate clientsEnsure that all leads and quotes are followed up on timeCompetencies (Technical & Behavioural)Drive for resultsAction orientedCustomer focusPerseveranceFunctional/Technical skillsProblem solvingTechnical LearningAssertiveSense of urgencyWe reserve the right not to make an appointment to any advertised position.
