B-Tech or first degree in Finance/Accounting
Computer Literacy – SAP and Office Applications
8 years’ experience in Financial Management
Key Performance Areas
Identifies and defines the short to medium term objectives and priorities of the section encapsulating procurement, expenditure and remuneration control functions
Directs the implementation of specific procedures, systems and controls associated with key functional areas embodied in the Section’s structure
Manages applications and sequences associated with recording, authorization and execution of expenditure transactions
Manages and controls specific accounting procedures associated with asset acquisition and disposal
Provides support to contract managers
Directs and controls Key Performance Indicators and outcomes of personnel within the Finance section
Managing training and skills development and the transfer of skill and knowledge
