Job Description
ROLE PURPOSEThe role will involve towing of Mobile Bowsers, refuelling generators, conducting Visual Inspections and Housekeeping of generator rooms. Actual and potential generator nonconformities are dealt with and that corrective and preventative actions are taken to report to the upper managementMAIN OUTPUTSRefueling of Static and Mobile GeneratorsPerforming basic Power checks and facilitate manual changeover between Eskom and Generator supplyMaintaining the general condition and cleanliness of Generators, Bowsers, and all Company AssetsPerform Quality measures and AuditsOversea and Identify the possible risks that may affect H&S, workflow, quality, performance, etc., and must report all risks identified on time in the proper means of communication to urgencyEscalate generator repair requirements to the Site SupervisorWill be expected to work overtime in line with Load Shedding SchedulesWeekly generator Inspections on SiteQUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLSThe Applicant must meet the following requirements:N courses in Electrical/Mechanical EngineeringTrade Test- Mechanical will be beneficial but not requiredMatric/Grade 12Valid Code 08 EB/EC or EC1 Driver’s LicenseDangerous Goods Driving PermitPDGP PermitECB 1 Trailer towing1 Years’ experienceKnowledge of generator maintenance and operation in the service management industryMedicals as per H&S requirementsHIRA (Fire & Fist aid)Microsoft WindowsMicrosoft Word and ExcelIMS (Integrated Management System)FUNDAMENTAL COMPETENCIESResult OrientationInitiative/ProactivelyPays attention to detailStress tolerancePassionateDecisivenessFlexibilityTeam Performance DrivenCustomer/Client FocusQuick ReactionSelf-DrivenGood interpersonal skillsListeningTeamwork
