Job Description
Hire Resolve’s client is looking for a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager to join their company in the Western Cape. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the international logistics industry, with a focus on the fast-moving consumer goods sector.Responsibilities:Business Development Acquire new business with a focus on Medium, Large, Mutinational and Global accountsManage and report on the client’s profitability, revenue, and YOY numbersPrimary role is to prospect, develop, and manage new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and identifying potential new business Collaborate with the operations team to ensure seamless delivery of services and customer satisfactionMonitor industry trends and competitor activity to identify market opportunities and threatsAttend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to network and promote our servicesPrepare and deliver high-quality presentations and proposals to prospective clientsRequirements:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, International Business, or a related fieldMinimum of 5 to 10 years Sales Experience, preferably in the 3/4 PL and/or Freight Forwarding IndustryProven track record in Freight Forwarding, Clearing, Contract Logistics and/or 3/4 PLProven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growthStrong understanding of supply chain management and logistics processesExcellent communication and negotiation skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamWillingness to travel for client meetings and industry eventsProficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM softwareContact Hire Resolve for your next career-changing move.Salary: negotiable.Our client is offering a highly competitive salary for this role based on experience.Apply for this role today, contact Ashley Feldtmann, Rebecca Grylls, or Thomas Stacey at Hire Resolve or on LinkedInYou can also visit the Hire Resolve website: hireresolve.us or email us your CV: [email protected]We will contact you telephonically in 3 days should you be suitable for this vacancy.
