Job Description
Job Title: EstimatorHire Resolves client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Estimator to join their team in Airport Industria, Western Cape. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estimating within the construction industry, particularly in the airport sector. Responsibilities: Analyse project specifications and blueprints to prepare accurate and competitive cost estimatesCollaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimatingConduct site visits to assess project requirementsPrepare detailed take-offs and material quantitiesEvaluate subcontractor quotes and negotiate pricingDevelop detailed cost breakdowns and project schedulesCommunicate with clients to provide estimates and address any questions or concernsMonitor and track project costs throughout the construction processProvide support to the project team as neededRequirements:Degree/diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or Quantity Surveying.At least 5 years’ experience as an EstimatorMinimum 5 years’ experience in the estimating function in the construction industry.Minimum 5 years on site experience in the construction industry.If you meet the above criteria and are passionate about estimating within the construction industry, we would love to hear from you.
