Your primary responsibility will be to craft beautifully written and commercially solid content and campaigns that contribute to building and growing Wilderness’ reputation as a global leader in conservation and hospitality.This role requires writing for diverse audiences across digital and print channels. The candidate should have strong storytelling abilities and a passion and understanding of conservation and hospitality travel. It will be important for the writer to have expertise in conservation tourism to enable authentic, informative and compelling copy.ResponsibilitiesDevelop compelling and engaging copy for various marketing materials, including but not limited to websites, social media, email campaigns, print material, and advertisements.Ability to utilise SEO keywords in website content.Collaborate with the Creative team, Marketing team, and other stakeholders to conceptualize and execute innovative and impactful campaigns that align with Wilderness’ brand and values.Conduct in-depth research to understand market trends, target audiences, and industry best practices to ensure the effectiveness of content and campaigns.Work closely with the design team to bring copy and imagery to life across campaign projects.Edit and proofread copy to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency in messaging across platforms.Travel to Wilderness camps, when required, to gather stories from the field.Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in copywriting and content marketing to continuously enhance Wilderness’ content strategy.Candidate profileExperience & Qualification:Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or related field.Proven experience as a Copywriter or similar role, preferably in the hospitality, conservation, or related marketing industry.Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.Strong understanding of branding, storytelling, and content strategy.Understanding and ability to use SEO keywords in website copywriting.Flexibility in writing for diverse audiences across different marketing platforms.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.A team player who is confident in speaking publicly and conducting interviewsProficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms is a plus.Interests: A passion for travel, wildlife and a commitment to sustainability and conservationA love for storytelling and creating engaging, informative copy that drives sales interest and bookings.Why join Wilderness:Opportunity to work with a passionate and innovative team dedicated to conservation and hospitality.Collaborative and inclusive work culture that encourages creativity and growth.Access to exciting projects and opportunities to make a meaningful impact.If you are a creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and a commitment to conservation, we would love to hear from you!
