Job Advert Summary
Rand Water is looking forcandidate to provide supportfor construction operations,distribution maintenance andpipeline operations, collectionof equipments in RandWater’s area of supply,utilizing heavy transportvehicles.
Minimum Requirements
Grade 12.
Vehicle license code EC with PrDP.
1 year heavy vehicle driving.
1 year operator experience including rigging.
Primary Duties
Operating Equipment.
Driving both rigid and articulated heavy vehicles.
Documentation General.
Knowledge
Knowledge (what is required to perform the job competently)
Extra heavy driver’s license including PrDp
Certified to operate ALL of the followng:
Excavator
Mobile crane
Crawler crane
Front end loader
Tractor loader backhoe
Pipe layer
Skills
Machine Operator skills .
Mechanical background.
Communication skills.
Attitude
Customer service orientationand service excellence.
Attention to quality and detail.
Deadline Orientated.
Good housekeeping.
